Hello Beauties!

I am back with another post about the upcoming special day- Valentines Day! I , myself, never thought that Valentines day was something special but I wanted to help some of you guys out by creating outfits for different Valentine's Day occasions. Today's post is focused on a casual outfit that someone would wear if they're going to get lunch or brunch with the girls. I paired a casual printed bird dress with a blazer for a more tailored look. For this outfit you could add a black blazer instead of a navy blue. But the navy blazer does give the outfit a little something extra rather than what an ordinary black blazer would. I then paired this outfit with red wedges to add the "necessary" red color into the outfit. I chose wedges because wedges does tend to feel more comfortable than heels. If you do not prefer wedges than you can also wear flats! Finally, for the accessories, I added a brown bag and a few accessories to go along with the outfit. I love this outfit because it is casual but still put together to have a fun time with the girls you love!

Hello Beauties,
Happy Merry Christmas Eve!!
Over the last few days or even weeks, I have posted numerous of holiday inspirational outfit and sadly this will be my last Christmas type of outfit before focusing on the New Year's. But based on the likes and views of my blog, a good amount of you have like it so I must say THANK YOU for the likes and follows. SO, for this outfit, I had in mind an outfit for an office type of party. For a Holiday office party, you want to stay professional but not to stiff if you get my drift.... You want to look appropriate but also you can let a little loose. Now, do not take these words an an invitation to completely disregard the fact that this is still your working environment. For this outfit, I paired a black skater skirt that I have been seeing in numerous of stores and is easy to find. I also included a white top with black lace detail along the front with is very cute in my opinion. And along with that to go with the holiday/ Christmas theme, I included a red blazer. As for accessories, I chose a classic black Chanel bag since the bag is the focal point of the entire outfit and nude pumps to keep the bottom half of the outfit not entirely black. This outfit is perfect for an office party and I am totally in love!!!! Happy Holidays!

Hello Beauties!
Glitter and sequins are, in my opinion, perfect for the holidays. During the holiday season and of course the New Years, a lot of people have been wearing sequins and I think this is the perfect holiday to do so. Sequin Shorts is a common and popular way the sequin is being worn for the holidays. Also, who says that we can't wear shorts in the winter? Add black tights for warmth and comfort! For this outfit, I paired the gold sequin embellished shorts with a white top. The top has studding details that correlates to the shorts. I would prefer if the top had gold studs instead of silver but you can do that yourself by simply taking out those studs and applying gold ones on your own! Fun little DIY isn't it? No matter, the top still goes well with the shorts because is it a neutral and does not clash with shorts but allows it to stand out uniquely. Along with the sleeveless top, I added a blazer for a more tailored look. As for accessories the shoes are black booties that can go along with the tights. Black on black can really give the allusion of long legs! The clutch and the bracelet are little touches or gold to match the outfit. This outfit is perfect from a night out during the holiday time and can be worn on NEW YEARS!

Hello Beauties!
I have been noticing more and more people lately wearing Faux fur, specifically a Faux fur vest. I find that this piece is very out there and daring. But Faux fur can be worn in a comfortable way. I paired this Faux fur vest with a sweater for extra warmth. Because of the holiday season, I wanted to include a Christmas Sweater with the Fur vest. There is a lot of eye catchers going on at the top of this outfit so I wanted to keep the bottom half neutral. I paired black jeans along with these brown boots to make the outfit less daring than it already is. For accessories, include a simple bag, I chose the Chanel bag and simple stud earrings. I am loving the Faux fur vest and is looks amazing on others but I don't think I am daring enough to pull this off. But feel free to try this out! This outfit is perfect for Christmas Shopping. Work it girl! LOL ;p

Hello Beauties!
Continuing on with this Christmas theme, I have yet another Holiday outfit post so you guys can wear the latest trends and still look wonderfully appropriate for the holidays.! This outfit is not too causal and also not too dressy. This outfit would be perfect if you are planning on spending the holidays with the family without being too over dressed. For the top I chose a red blouse with cream peter pan collar which really gives the outfit a dressy vibe. The velvet skinny pants is what brings the outfit down a few notches and gives a comfortable yet cute and stylish vibe. Velvet has been becoming more and more of a fashion trend and is definitely wearable for almost all occasions. I honestly, love them because they remind me of the 70s or 80s for some reason. Black velvet leggings or skinny pants is not as outrageous as other colors could be and this color is more wearable. Along with the black velvet skinny pants I paired leopard loafers simply because they go so well with the outfit. Not to mention they are so cute! For accessories, I matched a classic black Chanel bag with a Michael Kors watch and a bracelet. With this outfit it is definitely a velvet kind of Christmas!

Hello Beauties!
If your could not tell by the title I am feeling a bit Christmas inspired! So here is another Christmas themed set. I wanted to work around the beautiful bold red dress that tons and tons of people will be wearing for the Holiday season. There is nothing wrong with a red dress and in fact I want to accentuate on it! This dress is a beautiful bold red dress that will definitely be a show stopper once you enter the room. I love the cutoff in the back and the pleating details that are in the front. This dress is simple yet very elegant. Since it is probably going to be cold outside, I added a white and black trench coat and I love how to two colors are both implied. The two colors are color blocked perfectly making this suitable for an elegant occasion. To me gold is an obvious holiday/ seasonal color that I wanted to touch upon with the accessories. The gold clutch is a perfectly match to the bold red dress, I kept the shoes nude since the dress is the main focus and I also kept jewelry to a minimum. This outfit is suitable to a Christmas party or dinner. Simple yet elegant, a perfect motto to live by!

.680 Faux-Leather Skirts and Christmas Sweaters

Hello Beautes!
I wanted to do a set based on faux leather specifically a faux leather skirt. I was dead stuck thinking of what I would pair this with for this time of the year. I know hundreds of you are easily thinking of what you would pair this with but I had a "fashionista's block" as I like to call it. Since it is getting closer and closer to the winter season and Christmas I decided to bring in the ugly Christmas sweater! The thing is that I actually think that this sweater is cute (anyone else agree?). I paired this faux leather skirt of pleather skirt as I keep hearing (do not quote me on this! ) with a Christmas sweater. What an odd match? The idea I had was to tuck the sweater in completely and allow the skirt to sit normally at your hip line. For shoes, I did not want to completely match the entire outfit but I did not want to incorporate a piece that does not suit well with the outfit either. So I add these Stud Spike Suedette Heeled Platform Lace Ankle Boots in Cherry Red and although the color is not shown any where else in the outfit, I feel this the shoes really goes well. Finally, the bag I kept a neutral color since it is not the main focus but still a cute essential. I'm feeling a little Christmas inspired! Can you tell ?!

Hello beauties,
This post was inspired by someone on facebook. She posted a picture of her outfit for church and she looked cute and all but the what she wrote was what really inspired me.

"Dad- why don't you wear your hair out of your face?
Mom- nothing wrong with adding a little length to your skirt
Aunty- embrace the young woman you're becoming"

What she wrote on her facebook photo inspired me the most to create this set. While reading this, I visualized the perfect outfit that embraced the young women many of us are or becoming. I paired this peter pan top with a maxi skirt that has this ombre effect that I really love. To keep the shoes simple since it is not the main focus I added black pumps. The clutch is my favorite part of this outfit because it is so out there but it ties into the color scheme of the outfit, especially the maxi skirt. As the photo caption above said, I would wear my hair in a bun or a top knot like I would do with any peter pan collared top.

High-Waisted Trousers was popular back then and now everyone and their mothers are raving about this reoccurring trend. I hope this trend is here to stay because I am loving it! In this outfit I paired these High-Waisted trousers with a patterned sweater to emphasize the fall/winter months. I love the patterns of this sweater and the crochet pocket. To really utilize the main point of high-waisted trousers, I would tuck the front of the sweater into the trousers and leave the back of the sweater hanging out normally. As for accessories I wanted to try the turban for a comfort vibe. The loafers and the backpack makes this outfit appropriate for an everyday wear!

Hello, Lovelies!!

Lately, I have been really focusing on the accessories in my outfit and making them the main piece. For This Outfit, I wanted to concentrate on the Studded Loafers that brings forth a rocker chic type of style to the outfit. I paired the studded loafers with dark green/olive pants and a oxblood blazer. Since I have the color blocking between the top and bottom, I wanted to keep the shirt neutral and I was really loving the tide dye effect of the shirt. The shoes are- in my opinion - a must have for the fall. I can't wait to get a pair of my own! If only they made more shoes in smaller sizes!
